Geese, Mallards & Wood Ducks
I hunt along the river or in the freshly cut cornfields, wherever the birds are. We frequently see mallards, wood ducks and canadian geese as well as mergansers, teal and many others.
Most days the shooting begins right at legal shooting time and goes well into the late morning when you usually have to make the haunting decision of "Do I want to keep hunting or go out to breakfast before they start serving lunch?"
But whatever we get into, you're going to want to make sure you bring plenty of shells and a camera!

"Dan put me on turkeys the first day I hunted with him. He is a master at his craft. He was able to call in a large beautiful Tom within minutes. He advised when to shoot and the hunt was over. That was my first turkey ever! I also had the good fortune to duck hunt with him this fall. Whether in a blind on a river or a corn field in Central Maine with Dan; the ducks will come and they will fall. Would like to add Dans dog Jake is one amazing retriever!
He has access to more land than a hunter could imagine. Dan as a Maine registered guide has an incredible amount of knowledge pertaining to hunting in the great outdoors of Maine. He is prompt, courteous, and above all allows you to feel safe and comfortable so you can focus on your hunt.
It is with pleasure that I recommend Dan Armiger as a Maine registered guide to anyone looking for an incredible hunting experience in the beautiful state of Maine. I look forward to future hunts with Dan Armiger. "
